Description:

We are looking for a Java/Android developer to help lead the design and development of mobile applications for our High Profile Clients.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Android SDK and/or other Java-based mobile development APIs.

Required Skills and Experience [Minimum 5 years of experience]:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related discipline.
• 4+ years of client-side mobile development experience working with Java.
• 2+ years developing Android applications.
• Strong software engineering and object-oriented design practices and design patterns.
• English Fluency is a must.

Highly Desirable:

• Development experience and expertise developing for other phone platforms.
• Strong insights on mobile product definition and user interface design.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiar with version control (SVN) and Issue tracking software (JIRA).
• Has one or more Android/Mobile product in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test and deploy user interface, service tier and data tier components for complex applications, including server-based web applications and Android mobile applications.
• Participate in the full SDLC process, including architecture, design, coding and actual implementation of Android application solutions, including Java/J2ME, JavaScript, Eclipse, HTML, XML and web services.
• Work in an Agile/SCRUM environment, helping to enhance Innuva’s processes and standards.
• Meet with end users and technical staff to gather business and system requirements.
• Provide technical assistance and assist with leading and mentoring of staff assigned to the project.
• Management of dynamic development groups.
