Job Summary:
As we continue to grow, SURE is looking for a high-energy, customer-focused Project Manager to join the PMO team. The successful candidate will possess the required qualifications described below.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who truly appreciates delivering high-quality products and ensuring satisfied clients. The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of delivery for multiple projects and is also responsible for support once the client is live.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously resources shared across projects.
- Interact with clients to understand their business needs, communicate project status and develop relationships to ensure satisfaction while minimizing project risk.
- Develop project plan, tasks, budgets, deliverables, dependencies and resource requirements to ensure on time and under budget delivery.
- Take lead responsibility in ensuring our applications meet client goals and successfully and beneficially impact our clients while meeting our internal goals and objectives.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Track, assess and communicate client and project goals, plans, issues, timelines, action items, metrics and budgets, prior and subsequent to implementation.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and develop contingency plans.
- Apply project management techniques and individual technical and or business knowledge to ensure that the work product and project deliverables are of the highest quality to satisfy client expectations.
- Provide weekly detailed project status reports and budget updates to PMO
- Prepare and enhance regular reporting for clients.
- Identify opportunities to generate incremental revenue through client services.
- Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of project and client interactions including quality assurance and client satisfaction.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:
- BS/BA degree required.
- 3-5 years of directly relevant experience managing the implementation of complex software applications with 1 years of technical project management.
- 1+ year in a software development environment with excellent knowledge of .NET, XML, SQL, HTML.
- Excellent client management skills.
- Experience with formalized software development methodologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
- Experience with MS Access, MS Excel, MS Project.
