& Associates in association with Crowell & Moring, a
Cairo-based international law firm, is looking for an Islamic finance
associate with over seven years relevant experience. As a senior banking
and finance lawyer you will have a fantastic opportunity to work as
part of a young, dynamic team of lawyers. You should have experience
handling conventional and Islamic banking transactions and a thorough
understanding of financial products. You will be responsible for banking
and finance matters including drafting, negotiating, structuring and
leading transactions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of
a young, dynamic team of lawyers. The successful candidate should have a
law degree coupled with upwards of seven years relevant experience. The
candidate will have gained their experience at a reputable law firm,
where he or she should have acquired a deep knowledge and understanding
of the structuring and documentation of Islamic finance transactions.
Job Qualification
•
LL.B., J.D. or equivalent degree with an excellent academic record. •
Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate with diverse
international clientele. • Demonstrated initiative, and the ability to
prioritize and balance multiple tasks. • Desire to work as part of a
team, willingness and ability to solve problems. • Demonstrated
commitment to business development. Responsibilities • Structuring and
drafting of Islamic finance contracts and facility agreements. • Working
with our corporate team on the structuring of shariah-compliant mergers
and acquisitions and transactions. • Provision of legal advice to
Shariah-compliant clients concerning Islamic finance transactions.
