Duties and Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for the design and development of modifications by using the suitable code (i.e. X++).
- Customization of the product to meet the needs of the customer based on the specifications from the Application Consultant.
- Making the testing.
- Be involved with developing integrations to legacy systems.
- Involved in communicating with the Application Consultant, so he must obtains an understanding of the business requirements and the modifications and integrations necessary to support the requirements.
- Assist in planning and deploying necessary installations or upgrades to meet Microsoft Dynamics installation requirements.
- Evaluate the customer’s current infrastructure and to give realistic recommendations for hardware sizing and software upgrades.
- Responsible for developing and executing data migrations and developing integrations to legacy systems using Microsoft Dynamics tools.
- supports testing and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation of the new business system.
Functional/ technical skills:
- Experiences in a development role for Microsoft Dynamics (X++ know-how), 2 years is minimum.
- Business process understanding.
- Web Services and Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server.
- Microsoft .NET technology and Microsoft Visual Studio development system.
- Integration of Microsoft Dynamics to other applications.
Nice to have skills:
- Windows Server 2003 or 2008.
- Microsoft Exchange 2003 or 2007.
- Active Directory.
- Domain Controllers.
- SQL Server 2005 or 2008.
- SQL Reporting Services.
- SQL Analytical Services.
- Visual Studio.
